It needs to be stressed that John Pope would have been fourteen years of age in 1967, and did not meet anyone connected to the Highgate Vampire saga, no matter how tenuously, until  the end of October 1973. The Elżbieta Wojdyla episode was over by the close of 1969. Pope did not meet her.

Arthur Hill remains very much alive. John Pope confuses Arthur Hill with someone called "George" whom Pope then confuses with someone nicknamed "Birdman," ie David Farrant, who is very much not alive. John Pope frequently gets muddled, but how is it possible to get so much wrong when he recounts history from the quite recent past? It does not augur well for any future book he has in mind.
